Important Points

Value of wall pressure of a cell equals the value of its turgor pressure, so is also the parity between the values of its pressure potential and matrix potential
Auxin application reduces pressure potential (and matrix potential) and thus increases the water potential of a cell.
The highest value of water potential (and also that of osmotic potential) is zero, which is that of pure water. Water potential (and osmotic potential) of a living protoplasm/cell is always lower than zero (like for example-3 atmosphere or-4 atmosphere).
Water Potential = Osmotic Potential + Pressure Potential.
Water may be channelled in a tissue form a cell with greater water potential to a cell with lower water potential.
Water potential of a live protoplast, or plasmolysed cell is equal to the valve of its osmotic potential.
