Tips and Tricks on Vector Algebra

Coplanar vector: Three (or more) vectors are called coplanar vector if they lie in the same planar. Two (free) vectors are always coplanar.

Free and localized vectors: A vector whose value depends only on its length and direction and is independent of its position in space, is called a free vector. Such a vector may be shifted, at pleasure, parallel to itself. However, if a vector is associated (bound) with a given line or point, it is said to be localized in that line or at that point.
