Binomial Nomenclature - system of scientific naming using "genus" as first part and "species" as second part.
Trinomial Nomenclature - sometimes sub-species added after species name

Artificial classification - Based of superficial characters (Theoprastus, Pliny the Elder, John Ray, Carolus Linnaeus)

Two Kingdom classification (Plantae , Animalia) - Carolus Linnaeus
