If in the glowing bulbs, connected in series, one bulb fuses, or one bulb is switched off, the other bulbs also do not glow. But in the glowing bulbs connected in parallel, if one bulb fuses or one bulb is switched off the other bulbs remain, glowing.

Maximum Power Transfer Theorem: It states that the power output across load due to a cell or battery is maximum if the load (external) resistance is equal to the effective internal resistance of cell or battery. It means, when the effective internal resistance of cell of battery is equal to external load resistance in a circuit, the efficiency of a battery or cell is maximum.
