Formulae on Biomolecules

RNA is called ribonucleic acid. It contains D(-) ribose sugar and cytosine and uracil as pyrimidine base. Guanine and adenine as purine base.

Amino acids are bifunctional organic compounds, hence it contains both carboxylic acids group (-COOH) as well as amino group (-NH2).

A nucleotide consists of three chemical components: nitrogen containing heterocyclic base, a five carbon sugar, A phosphate group.
