Cerebral hemispheres enclose 1st and 2nd ventricles which are known as lateral ventricles.diencephalon encloses the 3rd ventricle and medulla oblongata encloses the 4th one.The lateral ventricles open into the third ventricle by a common opening called foramen of munro.
