vector is a quantity having both direction and magnitude,especially as determining the position of one point in space relative to another.

vector is a quantity which have both magnitude and direction example velocity,force,impulse,momentum etc.and vectors are the quantity which follow vector laws

A vector is a quantity or phenomenon that has two independent properties: magnitude and direction. The term also denotes the mathematical or geometrical representation of such a quantity. Examples of vectors in nature are velocity, momentum, force, electromagnetic fields, and weight.
