Sometimes very rarely 2 ova are released at the time of ovulation if two sperms fuse with two ova then fraternal twins are formed. If there is only one ova released during ovulation then fertilization takes place normally and one individual is produced only if the egg doesn't separate out to form identical twins

its due to some abnormality.

Actually, if there are hormonal problems in the woman, sometimes during ovulation, two ova are produced, when two sperms meet the eggs, fertilisation occurs and hence fraternal twins are found

rarely in women after ovulation 2 ova are formed ,n 2 sperms fertilize 2 ova n as the result fraternal twins are produced...two ova's are formed due to some hormonal imbalance.
