BCC- It has an atom at every corner (there are 8 corners) and one atom at the centre of the lattice. The total number of atoms per unit cell are 2. FCC-It has an atom at all corners and 1 atom at the centre of every face of the lattice(there are 6 faces). The total number of atoms per unit cell are 4.

centre of body coincides with centre of atom, rest at corners is BCC; centre of faces coincides with centre"S" of atom"S", rest at corners.
