AIIMS 2017 Important Notification

The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) will conduct AIIMS MBBS 2017 on May 28 for admission MBBS seats in 7 AIIMS like institutions.

The application process for AIIMS MBBS 2017 has started from January 24, 2017 for the eligible candidates to register for the test.

The last date to fill the application forms is Thursday, February 23, 2017. Candidates have to appear for the online test as per slot allotted to them.

As a major addition, AIIMS has announced additional seven seats at AIIMS New Delhi, making the total number of MBBS seats to 707 from 700.

Eligibility Criteria

All India Institute of Medical Science (AIIMS) MBBS 2017 Eligibility Criteria are given below:

  • Nationality: Candidates must be Indian nationals. Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) are also eligible
  • Foreign candidates are not required to appear for the entrance examination
  • Age: Candidates must complete 17 years at the time of admission or will complete the age on or before December 31, 2017
  • Date of Birth: Candidates have born on or after January 2, 2000 are not eligible
  • Education Qualification: Applicants have passed the 12 Class with English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects from Senior School Certificate Examination (CSBE) or Intermediate Science (I.Sc.) or same examination from a recognised University/ Board
  • Candidates who will appear for 10+2/HSC can also apply for AIIMS MBBS 2017
  • General and OBC candidates  must have passed 10+2/HSC in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English with 60% marks while for SC/ST the qualifying marks is 50%
