Kurt Swihart
I am a born and bred Seattle native and love all there is to offer in the great Pacific Northwest. Skiing, hiking, cycling, long-distance running, and other outdoor activities that connect me with the beautiful natural surroundings of Washington State are what I love to pursue in my spare time. Other hobbies include traveling and linguistic studies. I have been to 46 U.S. states and 25 countries around the world. In addition to Seattle, I have lived in New York, San Francisco, Copenhagen, Berlin, Shanghai and Kumamoto (Japan). I speak Danish, German, Japanese and a little bit of Mandarin Chinese. In the past year or so, I have had the opportunity to travel to China (4 times!), India, Japan, Europe (Holland and Denmark) and Mexico... But even after all the traveling, there is no place in the world I love more than my own hometown of Seattle!
