Both Ionization and dissociation constants are similar terms. There can be both acid and base ionization constants.

An acid dissociation constant, Ka, (also known as acidity constant, or acid-ionization constant) is a quantitative measure of the strength of an acid in solution. It is the equilibrium constant for a chemical reaction known as dissociation in the context of acid-base reactions.

Whereas a Base Dissociation constant is Historically, the equilibrium constant Kb for a base has been defined as the association constant for protonation of the base, B, to form the conjugate acid, HB+. It is now usually derived from the Ka (the acidic dissociation constant).

Let me know if you were looking for something else more explanatory.

Thanks,
Tarun
