Question on IIT-JEE

well thats a very common question that comes to every science student's mind.. but i am lucky since i have a very good chemistry teacher and i almost know all reactions by heart.. see u will have to do some mugging up for remembering the reactions but most important thing is that ur fundas shuld be clear.. mechanisms of reactions are imp, and if that is clear to you.. u can very well predict the products of almost any reaction in org. chem... for this O.P. Tandon book is really very helpful..

The only wqay to do this is to memorize the varioyus mechanisms, which are specific foe a particular functional group. Refer to the Ncert and memorize the topics in the book.
