![]() | Posted on : 07:02:22 PM on July 30, 2009 First eight composite numbers are 4, 6, 8, 9, 10, 12 ,14 ,15 Q1 is or, Q1 = 2nd observation + 1/4 (3rd - 2nd) observation or, Q1 = 6 + 1/4(8 - 6) = 6.5 Q3 is Therefore, Q3 = 6th observation + 3/4(7th - 6th) observation = 12 + 3/4(14 - 12) = 13.5 Therefore Q.D. = (Q3 - Q1)/2 = (13.5 - 6.5)/2 = 3.5 Choice (3) is the answer. |
