Yes a body can be heated in space but you have to keep few things in mind

Heat can only travel through radiations in space because convection and conduction is not present in space. Objects can be heated at a more faster rate then it can radiate it.

This is one reason why there is a huge temperature difference between Sun and shadow in space while on the earth where conduction, convection and radiation are present there is not much of a dip in temperature in shadow and sunny areas within a region
