I have a question from electromagnetic induction i.e; why does a magnet lifts car or anything else or how a magnetic lift works as we know that magnet does no work. Then who is doing work.

Well, while lifting a car......gravity exerts a downward force on the car,but it is taken up by the magnet.so by the equation,W=F.s,gravity does negative work......since the body is displaced in the direction just opposite to the direction in which gravity exerts the force.this negative work is converted to potential energy of the car and the magnet does work in lifting the magnet against the downward force exerted by gravity. Moreover, this is a doubt from work, energy power chapter not EMI...
