Estimate the average S-F bond energy in SF6

The standard heat of formation values are :

SF6(g) ® 1100 kJ/mol

S(g) ® 275 kJ/mol

F(g) ® 80 kJ/mol

The required equation is:

SF_6 (g) \to S(g) + 6F(g),\Delta H.......(1)

The bond energy is \Delta H/6.

S(s) + 3F_2 (g) \to SF_6 (g),\Delta H_1 =-1100.......(2) (I think it should be negative)

S(s) \to S(g),\Delta H_2 = 275.......(3)

{1 \over 2}F_2 (s) \to F(g),\Delta H_3 = 80.......(4)

Now, you can find \Delta H/6 from appropriate Mathematics.
