Question on Alcohol Phenol Ether

One of the best option to distinguish all above alcohols is Lucas Test.

Lucas Test : This test is based on the diffrence in the reactivity of primary , secondary and tertiary alcohols with Lucas reagents (Equimolecular mixture of anhydrous ZnCl₂ and conc. HCI) .
Thus when to an alcohol, Lucas reagent is added and

1) If no turbidity is obtained ,its is primary alcohol, this is because lower halides are soluble in water.

ZnCl₂ + 2HCI + ROH ------------> RO⁺H ----^Cl-------> RCI + H₂O 

2) If turbidity is obtained afetr a few minute,it is secondary alcohol.

3) If  turbitidy is obtained at once, it is tertairy alcohol 

 you can even test it by oxidation
