Who Conducts AIEEE
Programme of Action (PoA), 1992 under the National Policy on Education (NPE), 1986 envisaged conduct of a common entrance examination on all India basis for admission to professional and technical programmes in the country. For admission to Engineering and Architecture or Planning programmes, Government of India vide Resolution dated 18th October 2001 has laid down a Three-Exam Scheme (JEE and AIEEE at the National Level and the State Level Engineering Entrance Examinations (SLEEE) for State Level Institutions with an option to join AIEEE).No of Seats
Approximately, over 23,500 seats are offered through AIEEE examAIEEE Exam Pattern
The courses offered by AIEEE are :1) B.E./B.Tech.
Compulsory Subjects are Physics & Mathematics and should have Any One of the Optional Subjects as Chemistry, Bio-Technology, Computer Science, Biology
Types of Questions are Objective Type Questions with equal weightage to Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics
2) B. Arch./B. Planning
Compulsory Subjects are Mathematics with 50% marks in aggregate at 10+2 level.
Types of Questions are Objective Type Questions and Questions to test drawing aptitude
