Hi Sanjaya,

The syllabus for Communicative English should contain:

a) Main course book

b) Literature reader

c) Work book

I could not find the 2012 syllabus. The 2011 syllabus can be found on the CBSE website: http://cbse.nic.in/senior_sch_curr_vol1_2011-2009.pdf

I suggest you to keep checking cbse.nic.in for updates/changes on syllablus.
