 Ayushmann Offline | Posted on : 12:37:45 PM on August 26, 2011 observed in compounds with bulky group eg C(CH3)... the shape will be tetrahedral...bt since the terminal grups are bulky so they'll repel each other which makes the compund unstable... phenomenon is termed as stearic hinbdrance. |
