Rauolts law states that when any non reacting volatile solvents are added to each other to give a solution.......

Example:in a solution consisting of two solvents A and B

the partial pressure of  component A would be directly propotional to mole fraction of component A in the solution........

pA=p0A.xA

here pA is the partial pressure of component A in the solution

p0A is the pressure of A in pure state(its a constant to remove proportionality here)

xA is A's mole fraction in the solution....

likewise its for partial pressure of B.........

i hope you got what raoults law is...........

a solution that follows this law is ideal............
