![]() prabha Offline | Posted on : 11:09:20 PM on December 03, 2011 The futute IIT admission is seems to be taken in to account of board marks of 70% or 50% weightage. In our country has got lot of boards and every one claims that thier board is diffficut to score marks etc. Also some boards student having scored high marks due to the hard work pertaining that atmoshphere and whereas some boards student get less marks and they will project it is very difficult marks in that board. (basically they will not work hard for marks). Now if a percentile worked for diffrennt board to normalise ths marks it is another droconian step. Because in some boards a student might end up with 98% percentile eventhough he may not be even worth to the 40% percentile student of another board. Now this gentle man will enter IIT with small percentile score how he will be able to cope with the rapid teaching IIT Professorl. Also some board have 3000 apprearing for 12th exam whereas lakhs of student apprear in some other boards. Whether number students under that will be taken in to account when giving weightage. Or will it result like a student coming first rank in a class where only a single student in that class. This whole new set up of pattern is brough to eliminate the coaching class domination in the IIT admission procees. OK remember coaching also does not admit every student approached them they only take bright students for coaching. Which ultimately results in bright student comfortably enters IIT. Thiis new system will result ultimately giving quota (is it instead kota coaching centre) of students from different states. Pray to God we should not disturb the IITs becausen of some new ideas. Also rememer if some one goes out of county after IIT atleast he reduced one person job search in this country. |
