in terms of calculus , inflexion point is a point where concavity of graph changes i_e first derivative of the function changes sign .

At this point derivatiove is 0 but  this point is neither maxima nor minima .

Take gragh of f(X) = x^3 , at (0,0) concavity of graph changes but origin is not maxima or minima , origin here is point of inflexion.

Also, f(x)=x^3 is not a strictly increasing graph , its a non- decreasing graph, because of this point of inflexion .
