 I am totally new to the periodic table.So i cant tell whether fluorine is more reactive than chlorine.Can we become friends so that our iit jee preparation go hand in hand.my id is shankardbh

Yes it is, In organic Chemistry you'll see that Bromine reactions are selective or controllable but Flourine reactions are in explosive in nature.... this evidences explain Flourine is much more reactive than Bromine..... According to periodic table also Flourine is more reactive than Bromine
