Discussion on Transition Elements (d and f block)

d-block elements have an incomplete d-subshell . They form transition series of elements during the change of an inner layer of electrons b/w the most and least electro-positive elements ,i.e. b/w s and p -block and thus called transition elements.The f-block elements are known as inner transition elements as f-block actually lies b/w d-block(as you can see from their atomic numbers).
